We want your stay to be as pleasant as possible, and for this reason we offer the following services:

The day before your arrival, you will receive a link to pay your deposit (bank imprint) of 500 euros.

The Val de Mai stables games room: a unique place for your fun stays near Amiens

The “Games Room” cottageis part of a set of five cottages with unique charm, converted from an old Picardy farmhouse located in the hamlet of Val de Maison, 20 minutes from Amiens. Ideal for a stay with family, friends or for a business trip.

Our cottages are decorated with care and offer a pleasant view of the stables. They can be rented together or separately, guaranteeing each comfort and privacy thanks to independent entrances, terraces and private gardens.

Whether for a festive stay, a family or friends reunion, a birthday, a small wedding or a seminar, the Écuries Val de Mai is the ideal place to share unforgettable moments in a beautiful setting, peaceful, authentic and warm.

Historical and Unusual

This farmhouse, built in 1821, once hosted a President of the Republic during presidential hunting trips. Today, the stables are rented to a professional rider. From the garden of the 'La Maison' gîte, children can admire the horses in their paddocks.

In each of our cottages you will find:

To access the gîte from Amiens: take a taxi or rent a vehicle.

Parking instructions:

You can park directly in front of the cottage in the courtyard.

These cottages are not suitable for people with reduced mobility. However, please note that the 'La Maison' cottage has 5 ground-floor bedrooms with an external ramp to avoid steps.

On the tourism side, you will discover nearby Naours (horse riding even for novices), Amiens (Cathedral, Hortillonnages…), Abbeville, Arras.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

Arrival : Arrival time at the cottage is scheduled for 6 pm, subject to availability. Early arrival is an optional service available for an additional fee. (See welcome booklet)

Departure : Departure time is scheduled for 10:00 AM, but can be changed subject to availability with a late departure, an optional service at an additional cost. (See welcome booklet)

Access to the cottage: Your arrival is self-check-in; you will find a key box (see welcome booklet). The day before your stay, you will receive an email requesting a €500 security deposit, which will be held on your credit card (please ensure you have sufficient funds available). This hold will not be debited from your account; it will simply be blocked for 7 days. You will then find the key box codes in your guest account.

Barbecue : The cottage is equipped (on request for this cottage) with a charcoal barbecue (charcoal and firelighters not provided).

Coffee maker: The cottage is equipped with several coffee makers, to find out the type refer to the welcome booklet and inventory booklet.

Dishes : The tableware is suitable for approximately 10 people and includes everything needed to set a beautiful table. (See inventory booklet)

Products: A sponge, a dishcloth, a roll of toilet paper per toilet, a little dish soap, and 2 or 3 dishwasher tablets will be provided free of charge in each cottage to help you get your stay off to a good start. Please plan to purchase additional items for later use. (See welcome booklet)

Our sales team based in Villedieu les poêles in Normandy is available Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 7pm.
