The ‘Villa de Malte’ transformed into a gîte

The home of Jean-Yves Guilloux, former departmental vice-president and deputy mayor of Villedieu, who passed away last April, is called “La Villa de Malte.” It has just been converted into a gîte.
By making this decision, his two sons, Yves-Marie and François-Xavier, hope to preserve their father’s memory by allowing visitors to rent this town-centre house and fully discover Villedieu. The garage at the back of the courtyard has been turned into a games room with a pool table.
“La Villa de Malte,” located at 27 and 29 rue du Pont Chignon, will soon offer accommodation for 13 guests (over three levels) in the main house and 6 in the annex, as well as a pleasantly flower-filled garden with a terrace and barbecue. Management has been entrusted to the company Laclefdecamp, run by Jennifer Decamp with the assistance of her husband. “La Villa de Malte” is furnished with Norman furniture in a cosy-chic style.
