Horses… they’re my thing!
So I decided to bring La Clef Decamp to the Autumn Meeting in Saint-Lô.
Yes indeed!
I’m going back to my first loves, to my life of before!
To that life where horse riding, show jumping competitions, and writing articles followed one another and made me feel alive.
Recently, I told myself:
“I’ll take part in the Autumn Meeting in Saint-Lô—but only once La Clef Decamp is well established and organized!”
And now, it’s done.
On the way to an exceptional event in Saint-Lô!
When La Clef Decamp’s gîtes meet the stables of the Equestrian Center
What a pleasure it is to see again these breeders, owners, and riders I know so well, having had the chance to interview them in my former life as an equestrian freelance journalist.
What a joy to take part as an exhibitor in this equestrian world that supported me for so many years.
I’m on familiar ground.
So I rented a booth to immerse myself in that familiar atmosphere of the Pôle Hippique and to present my gîtes.
I’m delighted to share my journey with all those people I used to work with a little over 10 years ago.
They knew me as a freelance equestrian journalist…
Now they meet me again as the founder of a luxury gîte rental company!
A technological, welcoming, and colorful booth!
Big ambitions call for big means…
Yes, we went all out to welcome you in the best possible conditions.
Thanks to Lecuirot printing house, where I spent a few afternoons, we worked on creating visuals that will catch your eye.

Of course, we stand out a bit among all these exhibitors from the equestrian world—but we share a common bond: a passion for horses!
Located in the large indoor arena, we’re alongside professionals in horse feed sales, the FFE (French Equestrian Federation) stand, as well as saddlery, equipment, and equestrian clothing exhibitors.
It feels so good to dive back into my former life!
But how did La Clef Decamp, a specialist in luxury gîte rentals, end up at the Pôle Hippique?
Two young entrepreneurs taking on the Autumn Meeting in Saint-Lô
At the age of 15, I had a friend, Laure Goubet, with whom I used to ride at the same equestrian center.
Laure went on to develop an online application called Smart Jack : un a stable management software.
In 2018, we both came to the Autumn Meeting in Saint-Lô to gather targeted contacts and build connections in this world I know so well.
I really wanted to support her because I strongly believe in her project.
My legendary gift of the gab and my knowledge helped her grow her network and meet breeding professionals.
In 2019, we decided to come back as emerging business owners, on the brink of a fulfilling entrepreneurial success.
We shared a 4-meter-long stand!
Each focused on our own businesses, we help and support each other.
And let’s be honest…
It’s always more enjoyable to share these friendly moments with a friend!

Let’s explore its rich program:
From Monday to Wednesday:
Breeding theme.
You’ll attend the qualifying stage for French Saddle stallions.
Breeders present their 2- to 3-year-old stallions.
Around 150 horses will be assessed on their movement and jumping ability to obtain the ultimate prize…
A passport to the future of show jumping.
The end of the week will feature:
- 3 auctions with 150 to 200 horses presented over jumps
- 2 CSI events
International show jumping competitions where French riders and competitors from around the world showcase their technique and elegance.
These two events offer more than €220,000 in prize money… Needless to say, the level is extremely high!
